So of the 16 hours that I've been awake, I've spent 12 of them with Sahal. Haha.. we went shopping for costumes this morning, and he picked me up at 8:45. We went to a couple places, he got me the new chocolate drink from STarbuck's which is amaaaazing and then we went more places (WalMart, Target, Kohl's + the shopping mall attached to Kohl's, TJ Maxx, Marshall's) and then got Chicken Shack for dinner. Oh Janet, you'd sooo appreciate the Shack - 12 big pieces of chicken for $8.62 (that's WITH tax). He dropped me off at class, and then we reconvened at 5 to go more places. Waltz rehearsal from 6:30-8:30, and then he took me to Mud on Maple Street, where he got me a great almond mocha laté, and then we went back to his place and watched the first episode of "Coupling." It was just super getting to chill with him; I feel like even though we dance together a lot and obviously have a lot of affection for each other, we never really just hang out the two of us. so yes, today definitely was wonderful, and Sahal I know you read this so THANK YOU for a great, enjoyable day. It's one of those that I will look back on with fondness when I'm away from NU and it shall make me nostalgic and happy.
Other than that, the waltz piece is great. Oh goodness, I love it so much. Once it's clean, I think it'll be a real gem in the show.
Also, Mag Editing class - party central. What happened today? It was just ridiculous. Numerous times the prof was like "okay guys, this is getting out of hand" and then would proceed to further the hilarity by making other comments. Even today, when the material was soooo boring, we were completely bouncing off the walls. I love it.
I'm running on a high - and the way things are looking; it's not going to stop for a long time!
