The inner Asian/Jew in all of you will appreciate this. When I was in LA I bought a shirt at Express, which was on the wrong rack so the girl gave it to me for $14.50. Then I went online to look at the real price, and it was $34.50. I am awesome. Or as Dan congratulated me, "way to stick it to the man."
I spent half of today working on my quilt, the other half of it cleaning and packing. It's funny, after traveling so many places, I've really learned how to pare down my belongings. Right now I have a cardboard box, one plastic suitcase, my backpack and a duffel bag (both of which are half-empty). Things I still haven't packed - my printer, AirPort, laptop and iPod. Already the act of packing is closing this summer for me, even though I have unfinished business, it's kind of falling behind me. That's the beauty of going to school far away, you can just run from everything and go stick your head in books!
Okay, I'm going to go work on this quilt more (I need to at least get a ROW done - that's five blocks - and I've only got 1 1/2 right now. hah).
Then maybe some Monty Python? Futurama? Excellent...
