These days I stretch my capacity for comprehension, try to speak ill of none, seek to live by my own morals and strive for integrity. Words string across the page like geese taking flight, their wingbeats like the rapid thump of drums, seamless and strong.
I live by them, these words. When they challenge me I assimilate them like a difficult idea, remembering what I do and do not believe. To turn my eyes outward, to see the dancing, spinning forms around me, to fling these words back out to the multitude surrounding me, is to share that thunderous rhythm in my heart. And from the words streams lifeblood, crimson and pounding, carrying me forever to the sky.
